Sally W. Campbell
Executive Director

As Executive Director, Sally Campbell guides the daily administration of the Envision Central Texas project and works closely with the Board of Directors, bringing more than 30 years of business, communications and non-profit management experience to the organization.

From 1988 to 2004, Sally was employed at the North Texas Commission, a regional non-profit organization focused on improving the economy and quality of life of the 12-county Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. She served as senior vice president from 2000 to 2004, receiving awards and recognition for her writing, publication and marketing campaigns.

Sally was one of the founders of the North Texas Clean Air Coalition and helped create and direct a nationally recognized mentor-entrepreneur program that matches small, women and minority-owned businesses in North Texas with large business mentors. Campbell earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Auburn University and a Graduate Marketing Certificate from Southern Methodist University.

As a former resident of Austin, Sally served as director of publications and public relations for St. Edward's University. She also was a feature writer for the Austin Business Journal and served as the first public relations director of Ballet Austin as it made its transition from amateur status as the Austin Civic Ballet. While in Austin, she was selected for Leadership Austin, received a University YWCA Leadership Award and was active in many civic and arts groups including Austin Junior Forum and the Ballet Austin Board of Directors.

 

Diane Miller
Assistant Director

Diane Miller’s background blends project management, civic engagement, group process design, and corporate and civic culture change expertise. As assistant director at Envision Central Texas (ECT), she helps design and implement the organization's numerous projects involving business, government and civic sectors to raise awareness and mobilize collaborative action on sustainability issues.

Prior to her work at ECT, Diane was in the field of organizational development with Pecos River Change Management and her own consulting firm, RCR-Discovery, developing and managing leadership, teambuilding and culture change programs for corporate clients. Diane began her career in the insurance industry as an account manager for Aon Corporation, a global insurance and risk management firm

Her role with Envision Central Texas provides a unique opportunity to combine her professional expertise with her interest in collaboration, public engagement and community change. She has served in key roles in a number of organizations focused on revitalizing civic spirit and improving public discourse, including Texas Forums and the National Coalition on Dialogue and Deliberation, and has a certificate in Dialogue, Deliberation and Public Engagement from Fielding Graduate University. She has been involved in the creation of several grassroots organizations in Austin, including Wisdom at Work and the Austin Progressive Potluckers, and is a graduate of Leadership Austin. Diane has a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies degree from Excelsior College.
